Join Team Glimmer as we walk/run and raise funds for at-risk girls and women!
Ready, Set, Go! Women, men & children, #ShareYourGlimmer and join us for either a challenging uphill 1 mile, scenic 5K loop walk/run (or both!) to raise funds and inspire thousands of at-risk girls and women to believe in themselves! Simply purchase tickets here and you'll receive an email on how to rally your friends, family and network to support our cause. Thank you!

- Location: Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco (John F. Kennedy Drive & 36th Avenue)
- 8:30am: Check-In at the Project Glimmer table
- 8:45am: 1 mile starts
- 9:00am: 5K starts (immediately after 1 mile)
about this activity
- Join us for either a challenging uphill 1 mile race or a scenic 5K loop or both!
- Check-in for the 1 mile race is at John F. Kennedy Drive & 36th Avenue, and the mile begins near the check-in area and runs uphill towards Transverse Drive (runners will need to walk/jog back downhill afterwards to the start)
- 5K begins immediately after the completion of the 1 mile and will start/finish at JFK & 36th Avenue.
- Free parking all along JFK Drive.
- Everyone receives a participant ribbon with place ribbons to Top 5 overall M/F runners.
- Race is held rain or shine, and we regret no refunds.
- Please no baby joggers, dogs, or headphones allowed for insurance and safety purposes. Thank you for your support!
